| Jill St.Romain Tate was born in River Ridge outside New Orleans. Her father gave the family its first "real" camera on Christmas, 1979. Before that Pentax K1000, Jill's photography started years earlier with a 110 Kodak Instamatic. Little did her Father know that his gift would inspire a passion that continues to thrive decades later. Over the years, her passion would see her through a degree specializing in Print Journalism from Loyola and a photographic career with the Department of Defense. Current work includes scenic landscapes, commercial, portraiture, wedding and event photography. Jill Tate lives in Mandeville, Louisiana with her husband Robert and their son, Wesley who accompanies Mom on many "photographic adventures". |
